I'm a 3rd-year film student, majoring in screenwriting. Although majoring in screenwriting, I aim to venture into directing, producing, animation voice-overs and hairstyling and my overall goal is to open her own production studio to help uplift other young and upcoming black queer creatives and become a film critic.

Katlego Nthabane

Director of Photography

My name is Katlego Nthabane and I am one of the Cinematographers of ‘Do You Mind’. As a creative, the roles I really enjoy in no particular order is Cinematography, Editing, Color Grading and I sometimes dabble with Directing and Virtual Effects. I also direct some of my work in photography and videography. I would say I love creating mainly because I love telling stories, I like putting people in a situation where they would look at something different because they saw my work portray it differently. My goal is one day to see my brand Indigenous Kulture shooting some really cool homegrown stories.

My name is Zipho Masengemi and I am an aspiring filmmaker/ content maker, currently doing my 3rd year at AFDA Durban majoring in Editing. I went to AFDA with the intention of studying Cinematography but in my first year of trying different disciplines I fell in love with Editing as the idea of being the person that decides how I want to tell the story was very interesting to me.
